| Vivienne
Head was born in Lincolnshire and attended the Colchester
School of Art. For eight years she was a costume supervisor
at London Weekend Television. It was around this time
that Vivienne became aware of Georg Jensen, the Danish
jewellery designer. Having been inspired by his work,
she nurtured the idea of designing and making her own
jewellery. Vivienne attended the West Dean College in
Chichester then moved to East Anglia where she attended
the Norwich School of Art.
She has had a workshop in Aylsham, Norfolk, for some
years where she create pieces of jewellery in precious
metals influenced by the classic techniques of European
jewellery making, together with designs developed from
natural materials found in East Anglia along the shore
