The human body in all its shapes and moods is of unending fascination and has been so throughout thousands of years and in many cultures.

More immediately the relationship between model and artist is full of subtleties and the latter must interpret in someway what he or she sees and this is what is important to me.

To have the means of depiction in hand and endeavour to convert it to a two dimensional experience is a problem to be worked out with each drawing and is both challenging and enjoyable.

In this I am following the path of many artists over the centuries while working out my own solutions resulting in this present exhibition
