| Ronald Durban
was born in London in 1932. He studied Design, History
of Art, Life Drawing and Painting at Epsom and Ewell School
of Art, and at St. Martins, London, under the guidance
of Leslie Worth, Michael Cadman, Karl Hagedorn and the
late Ronald Benham.
He worked in London and Norwich as a designer and illustrator
in various consultancies, studios and advertising agencies,
and from 1978 as a freelance illustrator. Painting occupied
a small but very precious part of those years. Ronald
now lives with his wife in Norfolk, England, although
much of his time is spent travelling and painting in
Europe.
Ronald Durban's work has been sold through fine galleries
in London and the south of England. |
