makes one-off commissioned pieces for domestic and corporate
clients. A furniture maker of eclectic tastes and interests,
David enjoys the challenge of working to commission, producing
pieces that may be extremely simple in design or highly
ornate. He has a love for pure geometry and pattern and
in particular curves and flowing lines. Textural effects
and metal as details are a current interest.
Notable commissions include a portable lectern for
Norwich Cathedral, foyer and outside seating for the
Elizabeth Fry Building at the University of East Anglia,
Norwich and an eighteen foot long boardroom table and
twenty chairs for Norwich Consolidated Charities.
David has been awarded two Craft Guild Marks by the
Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers. |
